Timber Development

Evan joined the Silvicon team in the fall of 2022 after a decade of working in other various forestry roles. He currently represents the company as a JOHSC member and a field crew supervisor. Evan’s background is in reforestation where he has planted over 1 million trees! He then moved on to a management role for an additional 3 years. Evan has also done reclamation work on pipelines and well-sites, cone picking, climate assessment for herbicide application, invasive species control, cariboo habitat restoration, and line location for wildfires. Evan is motivated to continue developing his operational forestry practices knowledge with a specific focus on sustainability and habitat management.
